BHSc (Hons) Program Supplementary Application Information

The Supplementary Application is a mandatory component of the application process to the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) Program. The Supplementary Application is considered in consort with your grade point average. A high GPA alone does not guarantee admission to the program.

The Supplementary Application provides applicants with the opportunity to showcase their critical thinking skills, methods of self-examination and help the program get to know you better.

Important Information for Level I Applicants

The submission deadline for Level I Supplementary Application has passed for the September 2024 application cycle.

Note: Supplementary Applications portal access is closed. Extensions are not granted.

Important Information for Level II Applicants

The Level II Supplementary Application questions have been posted on our website since 20 September 2023.

The OUAC application deadline for external transfers is 1 April 2024, and the Mosaic application deadline for internal transfers is 29 April 2024.

Instruction emails will be sent on 6 May 2024 from bhscapply@mcmaster.ca with your unique URL so you can submit your Supplementary Application. The Supplementary Application portal access will be 7–8 May 2024.

• Review the questions and their intended meaning in advance
• Take the time to think deeply about what you want to say
• Be genuine to who you are and your life perspectives when responding
• Where appropriate, draw on your life experiences when answering
• Express yourself in a clear and compelling way
